For most conversations, getting notifications is too noisy but you still don't want to fall out of the loop. Now you can Follow threads and have the updates in your Inbox. This is critical for keeping track of async conversations without getting overwhelmed. Reply threads you engage in are automatically followed. This gives you peace of mind that you aren't missing important replies.
